A delightfully weird record. It's not instantly accessible, but I found myself coming back to it and liking it more every time. Even though Sea Change is my favourite Beck album, I do love the fun side of his music, and this is the fullest realisation of that.
I'll always equate this album to the soundtrack of summer. Across 1996 & 1997, as a general rule, if OK Computer wasn't on my teenage stereo, Odelay was.
Still a go-to album for a road trip, and a worthy #7 in my Top 100.
