I have loved few albums as much as I loved For Emma, Forever Ago when I was 16. It is perhaps the ultimate sad bastard album. And while I may not have the middle school crush on it that I did once upon a time, but any time I revisit FE, FA, it still holds up as a haunting, heartbreaking collection of songs.
