Massively overrated as a studio album...Tattoo You is an almost fairly decent collection of leftovers from the sessions of previous albums that were finished up because Keith & Mick were not getting along and an album was needed, and it it has a strong reputation because at the time, no one knew yet that the Stones were pretty much done as far as songwriting and new material. And just because "Start Me Up" was a huge hit does not mean that this was a good Stones record. At all.
There are a few decent tracks here...but there is also a lot of garbage compared to what this band had done in the past. And it only got worse from here. _________________ May we all get to heaven
