Cannot really see how this was the true Britpop album and guys like Blur was seen as inferior.

I’d say that back in the day the consensus view was generally Oasis > Blur > Pulp > Suede > all the other shite. Though summer 95 belonged to Pulp for sure.

Time has shown Blur to be the best of ‘em all though, easily Cool
