are you saying you disagree?
I'm at work so I haven't actually heard it yet. But conceptually it seems too great to fail

ICP is good, but Jack White is in a whole nother league.
If someone were forming the next super group I would love to see Jack in it.
But please, don't send in the clowns _________________ .

Yeah, well I went into it knowing I was going to disagree with it. Then I heard it...
Can we just pretend this doesn't exist?

For anyone into hair-metal the Rock N' Roll Allstars yesterday announced their spring 2012 South American tour. These are the players:
Gene Simmons (KISS)
Joe Elliott (Def Leppard)
Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver)
Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver)
Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses, Rock Star Supernova)
Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Black Country Communion)
Ed Roland (Collective Soul)
Sebastian Bach (Skid Row)
Steve Stevens (Billy Idol's backing band)
Mike Inez (Alice in Chains)
Billy Duffy (The Cult)
From what I understand they'll mostly play covers of their own old hits. Doesn't seem to be any album in the making.

Also, Hayden, I'm amazed someone like you exits. I thought I was the only one who saw the stones as terribly overrated. |
I know. I'm amazing at existence.
-To Pam & Taric:
Just my opinion. I know that gets said a lot on this site, but it's true. I'm fine with you guys liking it, it's your thing/taste. No hard feelings.
The only album I get annoyed with people liking is the Joshua Tree . I'm fine with Achtung Baby, The Unforgettable Fire, & War. But the Joshua Tree, just simply, isn't good It's ridiculously boring and never picks up.
But people like it |
Ridiculously 'boring' is the word.
BTW, I think I'll avoid that video. The comments make me believe it contains something really terrible.

Mick Jagger hasn't made anything worth mentioning after 1977 and I find this probably his worst I've ever heard. |
You mean, with the Stones too? 'Cause Tattoo You was awesome. Not sure about the rest, though.
It is mind-boggling that Rolling Stone's 100 Best 1980s Albums list included Steel Wheels. I mean, sure, go ahead and include Tattoo You, but seriously, STEEL WHEELS?

Not like the inclusion of Steel Wheels was the only weird thing about it.
In fact, I consider the '80s list the worst Rolling Stone list of all time. It is good if you want an 'interesting' chart, but not if you want a good chart. It has a '70s album at the top (even if it is London Calling, but it's a freaking EIGHTIES list, not a '70s one) It's got Joshua Tree too high too. And I don't know where Purple Rain should be included on an '80s list, but #2 certainly isn't it.
Well, whatever. Goes to show that an 'interesting' list isn't always good. Like, you could even call Iluvpornmusic's chart 'interesting'. Does it make it any freaking good?
