Hope you are getting a pal or a dj you like from a night you go to? I don't trust random djs you hire from an advert. They never play what you want and it ends up crap. Better with an iPod than that.

Sounds good in theory but if it's some random dj you hire from the phone book I would bet they will play a handful of your requests and then steam ahead with what they normally do. If you want to pick a playlist then get a friend to play. Just been to nights where this has happened including my wedding night.
