What's your album of the day? Like, you know, what record if any are you like planning on playing once or twice or three times today.

Personally I'm still riding this high of The Moon and Antarctica. Once I get over listening to this and digesting this then i'll move on. I can never tell ahead of time where my musical heart will lead me. Maybe the new JT!!!

I know a record is great when I start having internal debates as to if it is as great as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. That has been happening with this Modest Mouse album finally.[/s]

Probably something folksy, like Graceland.

Dude, that's cool! The fiery furnaces have been one of those bands I have been meaning to get into. Do you have a recommendation for like a masterpeice or perhaps like a good album to start with them?

I've been obsessed with Oval's Szenariodisk lately, especially the tracks Episonik and Motif.

I would probably start with Gallowbird's Bark, it's an easier listen than Blueberry Boat which is more popular, although not as good I think. If you want to hear more after them I would suggest the EP then Bitter Tea.

If you haven't heard anything by them before, they are somewhat similar to the White Stripes and Capitan Beefheart. Anyway enjoy Smile

I quite like the second track, the first one started to piss me off pretty quickly though, maybe I should give it another listen.

Yeah, Oval's music is definitely not for everyone, but when I listen to some of his albums it feels like my aesthetic pleasure centers are noticeably pulsing in my brain. It's kind of similar to the drowning effect of Kevin Shields later guitars stuff. If you haven't already heard it, you might like Oval's flagship track "Do While".

Thanks a lot! Yeah when I was like 16 I listened to Blueberry Boat and it was weird and I didn't get it titanium. Now I am planning in exploring their stuff again. Ill check that stuff out!
