I'm going to start a chart of best lyrical albums here:
http://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=25411

Let me know what needs to be on this.

The one rule is no more than 3 albums by the same artist -- but I might try keeping it to one per artist.

Inevitably, subjectivity will enter into this. For example, do David Bowie or Led Zeppelin deserve a spot on this chart?

I have not heard Sebadoh ever so I will have to give them a listen. Other choices are good. First come, first served, I guess.

With Sebadoh, work backwards from Bakesale. It's hard to appreciate earlier albums without getting accustomed to them.

Checking out Lekman. You know, great lyrical poetry really is pretty rare...

John Prine... yes! Thank you! Is Bruised Orange not a better pick, though?...
