Perhaps the most important record of the 2000s and one of my favorite albums of all time. Beyond incredible Trip Hop, forward-thinking topics of climate change, memorable performance from 2D and Murdoc.
Now, where would Hong Kong be placed? Between All Alone and White Light maybe? _________________ My Top 100 :

This was, and is, my favourite album of 2005. It has special memories for me, and I agree it's one of the best albums of this century.
Already it's a classic
I still love the videos to Dare and Feel Good Inc.

Will always be a favorite of mine. My first major introduction to hip hop and I didn't even realize it at the time because it's so steeped in other influences. Everything from dance, punk, lounge, and gospel all the way to Bernard Herman's Psycho score (sampled both in the "Intro" and "O Green World"). For as apocalyptic as this album is, it's also so colorful and so much fun.
Track picks
4. O Green World
5. Dirty Harry
6. Feel Good Inc.
8. Every Planet We Reach Is Dead
