Exciting, fresh, capitavating are only some of the adjectives associated with this album. Hands down there best rock and roll album . They created many #1 singles and many rock albums, but I find, the magic in there music is present through out this album. It was created early in their careers, so it doesn't have a polished sound, but is a bit raw. And that's what makes this album special.

The production on this thing is still flooring at times. Gorgeously assembled, and unabashedly sincere and piercing songwriting. I'd have to be a Grinch to dislike this.
Track picks
1. Politik
4. The Scientist
5. Clocks
8. Warning Sign _________________ Inversion Verses

My favourite Coldplay album, and one of my favourite albums of all time. "The Scientist" and "Clocks" are definitely career highlights for Coldplay, but my personal favourite is "Amsterdam", a perfect closer to a near-perfect album.

Absolutely adore this album, one of my all-time favorites. One of the very few albums were I genuinely love every single minute of every single track from start to finish. Picking my very favorites from this album is such a difficult exercise, but I think find myself revisiting Politik, The Scientist, and Amsterdam the most.
