Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Although Jet's popularity peak was well behind them, the band produced a solid well produced album full of catch tunes.

I agree. I like all the Jet albums. They all are a little different from each other. I hope they put out another.
This is a solid album. For me, it's even a little more enjoyable than "Get Born". It flew under the radar over in the U.S. I didn't even know it existed until today. Give it a shot. It's nowhere near as terrible as the rock magazines would have you believe.
