listenable . dog days are over is propably the best track,throwing an old 90's classic on at the end of the album probably helped sales.

One of the only albums I can listen to cover to cover. It has grown on me over time. Highlights: Cosmic Love, Howl, Rabbit Heart and Dog Days Are Over. Never ceases to put a smile on my face.
I love it. It's blue-eyed soul you can dance to, though I don't dance
Found it in one of my favorite stores on the brazilian rock shelves.

paladisiac 12/09/2011 17:39This is one tough chick. Don't mess with her. She might be overproduced in spots, but don't let the frail opening of "dog days are over" fool you. As that song, and album, kicks in, you can find yourself caught up in the power and range of her vocal chops which will punch you in your chops on "kiss with a fist" ("a kiss with a fist is better than none"), a song that could fit on a rilo kiley album; but unlike rilo kiley, florence + the machine RAWK out with the attitude of joan jett. The "drumming song" brings RAWK attitude too with its tribal drums and loud, raucous chorus.
ilovelctrSince there are so many great female vocalists, I'm not drowned by her voice... The songs are ok though. Some are great pop songs while some are weak.
