Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 64.3/100, a mean average of 61.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 61.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.9.

I think this is Live's second best album!
Clearly in the minority, Live trade in their corny spiritual suffering's (mostly; Sanctity of Dreams is verrrry corny and spiritual) for a blue collar and straight ahead refined 90's rocker.
The genre had passed at this point, so to many it felt outdated at release, but I thought it took the best of that sound and refined it here to make an excellent consistent sounding 90's album.
Lighthouse, What Are We Fighting For, Life Marches On are excellent highlights.
Skip Sanctity of Dreams and a couple B side songs and this is above average rock.
Live had fallen off the popularity map at this point. And by toning down the spiritual musings, this can be seen as generic but it's done efficiently and professionally here making it above average.
Underrated album

This is the last Live album I bought. When they were young and hungry they were like a different band, but here they just don't have much to say. They still have that big sound, but the lyrics are basically vapor, and the songs aren't as diverse or inspired as they once were. Ah well, at least I still have their 90s stuff.
