Metheny's put out over 60 albums, most of them excellent, but his first remains arguably his best. Of course having Jaco at his side certainly helps.
Metheny's debut album at 21 years old, the great Jaco Pastorious at 24 years old, they complement each other perfectly in this Midwestern themed gem.
