To be honest, if someone gave me this album and I had no idea what it was, I would probably just think it to be generic pop music. The music itself isn't abysmal, but as a matter of principle I have to give it the lowest rating. It is a testament to greedy corporate record producers trying to milk money out of one of the greatest bands ever. It is truly disgusting that Doug Yule was forced to make this album and market it as Velvet Underground material. At least the album is now a rarity and out of print.

I know, but to me it doesn't really count as a VU album, it puts a blemish on such a great band

There are different personnel, but this also applies to a lot other bands where there are line-up changes. There's no getting away from the fact that the cover-art credits VU.
