Grey and pink is in my top 100 so why I've left it so long to check this out I don't know. Unfortunately one Sinclair left by this record for Hatfield, losing his wonderful vocal and bass but the other Sinclair who had left before previous album returned for this one, bringing his distinctive keys. Quite different from those earlier albums in character. Still great but maybe blending in more with the time than standing out from the pack like before and some straight up poptastic moments too. Definitely be coming back to this one.
Possibly overshadowed by the Prog masterpiece with it's iconic cover, In The Land of the Grey and Pink', this album is equally brilliant yet quite different. One of those where you discover more with each listen. Side 2 (vinyl) is epic!
A great record and one of their best.
