Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 68.2/100, a mean average of 64.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 64.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 27.7.

The existence of this album fascinates me, as does the fact that it sounds amazing. Recorded in the early 70's and funded in part by the Gay Community Social Services of Seattle, this is unabashedly gay country music, though you might have been able to tell that from the titles of tracks 5, 6, and 9. I believe I read somewhere that the band was assembled of local musicians who didn't play together previously, which is the biggest reason I'm surprised this sounds so good. There's so much variety here, from ballads to fiddle solos to country stompers; it honestly has more variety and sounds better than the few albums I've heard from country legends. And the lyrics are just fantastic, there's a ton of ground covered and it ranges from pride and joy to sadness and despair - track 2 is especially dark. "I Can't Shake the Stranger Out of You" is my favorite song and demonstrates the album's sound well, but there isn't a bad song here.
