It would be wrong to say this is a bad record, for it has a couple of pretty strong tracks in The Sound of Silence and The Times They Are A-Changin', and the musicianship is by no means untalented. The problem is that it is very difficult to stay awake through the entirety of the album, as it is far too slow and way too mellow to be able to arouse any proper interest. The inclusion of the awful Benedictus so early on does nothing to help revive that interest either.
