Top 50 Greatest Music Albums by Applerill (2010)

To tell the truth, I don't really know how I should organize this chart. I could go and simply do it by the albums I love the most, but then people would (and trust me, they have) bash me for my Avril love. Or I could just put the ones I "admire" the most (for being the most "ingenious"), but then you'd see the same albums that everyone else has on their charts. So I tried to balance the two. On one hand, I'm trying to limit my use of "guilty pleasures" on my list so I don't commit sacrilege on classics like OK Computer; but on the other, I'm trying to throw out as many "oddball" albums as possible, so I can show how unique my tastes are. Hope you like my list!

An open, heart on your sleeve, honest chart! Pleasantly surprised by Vanessa Carlton in your top 10! KI too am a (40+) Avril fan. I still don't get all the universal love for the Beatles and Radiohead though - personally I think they are god-awful. To each his/her own.

To tell you the truth you can keep the Avril on there and get rid of P.O.D. To me that is far more offensive. I do like most of your chart otherwise.

You have some really great selections in your chart, and I would have rated it much higher if it weren't for Avril, Kelly Clarkson, P.O.D., and so on. That just threw it all off for me.

your chart is great and I think Avril is a intelligent composer. Good choice!

One of the more interesting charts I've seen here. None of that hipster shit.

Bork, as I've said before, I don't have these great albums on there to "look cool". I have them on here to show how much I love them. Some of this stuff was hard to get into, but after listening to things like Horses, it's hard to go back to poppier thing. With a few exceptions, of course :p And while I like artists like Miley Cyrus, I can't deny that the track balance is pretty mediocre with her. And most others, now that I think about it.
