Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 5% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 81.0/100, a mean average of 80.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 81.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.0.

I did NOT just read that that brass section was actually guitars! 🤯
Makes me love this song even more!
So catchy and funny. I love you, George Harrison.
Who thought that "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is the only song that had anything to do with Eric Clapton, is wrong. George wrote "Savoy Truffle" in reference to his friend's fondness for chocolate. It was written in September 1968, when tensions in the studio increased and George started to spent more and more time with Clapton to get away from his bandmates.
Funny tune, a bit underrated.
Not their best work, sorry brent13.
The electric piano is cool at the beginning, and the sax/brass is funky too, but the song becomes a bit annoying as it drags on.
highly underrated...it grows on you.
Quirky lyrics and music, but comes together to work really well :)
Cool funky number. The guitars sounding like brass are out of this world!
Probably the best song on side four of the White album. To be honest it's not saying too much. Still, it's a decent song, inspired by a box of chocolates. Nothing great, but not bad either.
