Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.6/100, a mean average of 86.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

Not sure that the different styles come together that well.
Sometimes I like it other times well...... Not sure.

This comment is almost a palindrome.......

' Dammit I'm Mad'. Now that is a palindrome.

One of many on Doolittle which initially gets a skip, but afyer a few listens becomes very enjoyable. And it's nice and short!

"I believe in Mr. Grieves / Do you have another opinion?" I have no idea what you're even talking about, Black Francis. But never mind: this song captures so much of the wild, maniacal energy that makes the Pixies so much fun. Something of a middling track on Doolittle, but that's only because it's such a great album overall.

The almost reaggea beginning is so much out of nowhere. That's what this album is, all sort of things out of the blue.

This song does so much in so little time. It goes through 3 stages in 2 minutes, and does it incredibly.

It's not a great song, but it shows off great composition as usual.
