Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.6/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 17.9.

Pretty song but basically the Communist Manifesto put to music.
The second most iconic song ever (according to research, see my chart of most iconic songs https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=62924). It's a simple song with a great melody, but the lyrics are, of course, ridiculous. The verse starting 'Imagine I'm living in cloud cuckoo land' is missing.

Masterpiece!

A true testament of a forward thinking genius.
A dull, plodding, myopic anthem for people who think they're changing the world by posting this on their Facebook wall. Imagine is a bad song because it pretends to be the way forward whilst offering absolutely nothing concrete towards such change. As Billy Bragg said, "The revolution is just a t-shirt away".
Not sure I agree with all the lyrical content on a personal level but it sure is a beautiful song by an amazing artist.
Thinking about it, this is a really simple song.
One that needed to be said, a future message that may one day be answered, probably not though.
Yes the 'imagine no possessions', is always going to either infuriate you or make you chuckle, but apart from that you can't deny the beauty of this song and it's apparent message. A lovely track.
