A nice piano introduction which is too short. It suffers through a poor drumming track and the organ sounds dated. Pete's vocals are very good though.
If it sounds a lot like a track that could have been on Genesis' first album, that's because it is. Visions of Angels was written for From Genesis to Revelation but was saved and re-recorded for Trespass. As such, it feels like a bit of a letdown after the excellence of White Mountain. But it's a still a good song, and the fact that Genesis saved it for the better production value of Trespass and Gabriel's more confident vocal delivery only helps it. There are some really nice moments in here, especially with Banks' keyboard and piano. But it's still probably the lowest point on Trespass.
