Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables was a high point in the Dead Kennedy's album career. Holiday in Cambodia is the best track on the album. Whether you want to call it 'Punk' or 'Hardcore' it's an amazing song however you want to categorize it. The Dead Kennedy's signature sarcastic social commentary takes a pop at rich college kids who have no understanding of how well off they are, the poor are happy without money, they have 'soul'. The rich college kids need a Holiday in Cambodia under Pol Pot's despotic rule to wake up their perception of the world. One of my all-time favourite tracks.
One of the greatest punk songs ever
This along with Kill The Poor are the two best songs on the album. Absolutely AMAZING.
