The weakest song on the album but it's heartfelt given the subject matter.
Yep, it's another easy-listening tune. Musically, it's probably the sappiest of the bunch, but the fact that the grief-struck lyrics are inspired by the tragic loss of Eric Clapton's young son is quite profound. Those two things probably balance out and land Since I Lost You as a "75," where all prior easy-listening Genesis songs have landed.
