Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Takes every one of the trashiest trends of the past decade of pop music, piles them on top of each other, turns them up to 11, douses them in an excessive dose of irony, post-irony, post-post-irony, and etc., and single-handedly absolves the sins of every one of them.

A wild album that I thought I hated and would never listen to again.... but i hit that repeat button right after the album was over and I've been addicted to the strangeness ever since.

Really memorable in the sense that you (probably) haven't heard an album like this before. Borders on annoying at times, but it never overstays its welcome. Solid debut and I'll keep an eye on this group.

Awesome album. High energy, abrasive and humorous but catchy at the same time. The length doesn’t bother because there is more packed into these 23 minutes than most full-length albums.
Great album. The most ridiculous and catchy thing I've heard.
