Comedic music is often treated with less value. Despite its sometimes juvenile nature, it can showcase fantastic talent, interesting ideas or simply just be really funny. “10,000 gecs” does nothing to dislodge that stereotype. The entire record is based around grating random humor. The lyrics are made from random rhyming words thrown together to give the illusion of verse. The choruses hit with repetitive force akin to brainwashing. Nu-metal, hyper pop, ska and dubstep are displayed with their worse aspects. The one positive thing is that the sound is surprising. The unpredictability keeps the listener engaged. Unfortunately, it is always taken to its most obnoxious conclusion.

Very exciting album for the most part. It's a fun ride!
Like all of the projects, their high points are very high but their low points are very low. Still some good moments like mememe, doritos & fritos, dumbest girl alive and got my tooth removed

Globally disappointed by this second project, besides the effort to make their formula evolve, 100 gecs gets lost little by little in already common sounds and their weirdness doesn't manage to be as percussive.I'm not sure that this album will have the impact of the last one. Moreover this one is much more irregular, half of the songs are of a low level, let's say that waiting almost 4 years for this is frustrating
