The first album to come up in the BEA top 400 that I criminally hadn't heard... Now I am listening for the second time in a row and it is so gorgeous. I can totally understand why it is so loved around here. _________________ -Ryan
Somaticae - Catharsis
Pretty dark industrial techno, some tracks are straight up dark ambient but most of the tracks have a punishing beat behind them. vocal samples are coming off as a little cheesy though and some of the songs lacked interesting progression. still its a decent release, Abrupt I is a standout track. This record exposed me to a wonderful looking label though; "in paradisum" based out of Paris. looks like its harboring some interesting electronic releases.
