Free For All by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers
Picked up some bits in the recent Blue Note sale: the respective 5 CD Original Albums boxsets by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers (A Night in Tunisia; The Freedom Rider; Buhaina's Delight; The African Beat [with The Afro-Drum Ensemble]; and the album I'm listening to right now, Free for All) and Wayne Shorter (Night Dreamer; The Soothsayer; Etcetera; Adam's Apple; and Schizophrenia), so essentially just fucking loads of Wayne Shorter, as well as the 2019 repress of Don Cherry's Brown Rice on vinyl, and the double LP set of Lonnie Smith's Live at Club Mozambique, which is funky as hell.
Haven't listened to this album in years, and forgot just how great it is.
