2021 Black Midi, only more experimental and industrial.
My AOTW! Every week. I'll allow myself to listen to one new release. Just one. And this for this week, this one's a no brainer. Loving the first couple of tracks!
I get the feeling that they probably like the Netflix tv show DARK! Just like me! lol
Glad you like it! Unfortunately the link's behind the paywall. But I did manage to find this:
Quote:
In the eleven tracks of the record, we follow along the going-ons of Stan, the Conveyor of the mysterious RCD, and Dr Coehn [sic] through uncanny human engineering experiments aiming to the extinction of mankind. They describe it as a “satire of satire,” delivered by a slurred vocal that’s frequently blasted by reverbs and distortion.
Didn't pay much attention to the lyrics on the first listen, but that story looks detailed and... fun? Well, as fun as a satire about the extermination of humankind can be I guess. 😁 _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart

That video’s great. “Blimey, your songs are genius!” First great discovery of 2021. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
2021 is already off to a great start. Another stellar album out, Jazmine Sullivan's Heaux Tales. Gorgeous R&B material. Lost One is one of the best tracks I've heard in a little while.
