This album never hit my radar. I do like a bit of Primal Scream but it depends which version of the band you get. What are your thoughts on this one?
A bit late on this, but better late than never. My favourite Primal Scream records are their electro-rock albums XTRMNTR and Evil Heat which featured Kevin Shields. Since then they have lost their experimentation and settled into something that sounds a bit safe. They have recorded some good songs including a couple of excellent tracks on this album (Love Interruption and Money Talks), but their recent albums seem to always start off well but end up falling flat.Come Ahead is no exception, although it is very funky and soulful.

Thanks for the feedback Imacgill. Sounds like a mixed bag. Might give it a miss TBH unless I see it in a sale or similar
