This release in 2003 was part of the 20th Century Masters Series and A & M Records (Cat#: 069 493 157-2) has been described as a cliff notes retrospective of Strawbs' career. It features only 10 tracks from the folk/prog bands' storied career, giving listeners a thumbnail sketch of what the group's music was all about. Walking the fine line between folk rock and progressive rock, the Strawbs could never be considered a "pop" band in the truest sense of the word. They had substantial aspirations and left a mark on music history. Authenticated on discogs.com
