So sad to hear of the passing of the legendary Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir at the age of only 78. Tragic.
I have loved the band since the mid 80's when a friend introduced me to them. I knew of them a little before that but not intimately. Great band. Since then I've acquired most of the studio albums and many of the live albums
Would be nice hear others reminisces of Bob and the band.

Neil Sedaka was one of the greatest artists ever. And he is especially dear to my heart because his Oh, Carol was the first song that I could understand completely.
I remember when he had his comeback in the mid seventies with Laughter in the Rain I liked him even better.
Best song: The Immigrant _________________ When the stewardess is near do not show any fear.

Very sad. I'll admit that I was never into his music but I recognised the talent

Although not particularly well know i guess to the wider world, John Hammond was one of the great guitar players of the last 50 years
Wicked Grin (2001) by John Hammond
Is a great album of Tom Waits covers.
