One of the best albums ever. Incredible flow, incredible storytelling, great lyrics, interesting rhythmically and instrumentally, this album is incredible. Also one of our quotes that shows up a bunch, the "grass" quote, everyone needs to NEEDS TO NEEDS TO here this, honestly should probably be higher on my chart.

Very good indeed, although not the best very Beatlesque very 80s-sounding album ever made! Award goes to "Time" by ELO

I haven't listened to this one in a while, but every time I listen to XTC I'm hit with a staggering indifference. Like, I see what they're doing, think it's alright, and think I should like it, but I just can't really get much into them. Maybe time will make them better for me, but as for right now I think this album is very okay.

Thank you Frogger for pointing this out to me. Fun fact about this album, not only was Dear God considered a 1 hit wonder by VH1 for some reason, but it was also banned in a variety of places. Also banned was the album cover, a vag with flowers stuffed in it. Both are getting rereleased soon though.

Ugh, like an anthropomorphic unicorn dancing in a field of unnecessarily fragrant flowers. Their English Settlement days were far more interesting to me. "Dear God" is a fun song, though. Too bad it's not on here.

Basically this.

I don't have much of an opinion on this. Last I tried I remember not really liking it too much. It seemed so damn overly flowery. And that vocalist made me want to vomit. Idk, I was probably just in a particularly bad mood that day. Maybe I will revisit. Soon.
