Hi all,
As some of you may know I suffer from Cystic Fibrosis, and despite being generally very well, athletic, and generally defy the effects of my CF I have currently fallen unwell.
Therefore the next two weeks I intend to hibernate on IV antibiotics and get some quality listening done.
Hit me with some recs; last time you gave me some absolute belters.
Ta

Based on your chart and our common interest here are some suggestions, assuming you've heard most of the classics on my chart, I tried to pick the most underrated (fewest votes / chart entries) that you might not be aware of:
*Added quick genre and album description that might save a google search
Replacements - Let It Be (classic punk) = on par with The Clash and Sex Pistols
Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny (classic metal) = best Priest album imo
Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen (alt rock / grunge) = labeled as grunge but not really. Heart-wrenching lyrics
Rancid - And Out Come The Wolves (ska punk / melodic hardcore) = Rancid's version of London Calling
Cage The Elephant - Melophobia (alt rock / garage) = favorite alt rock album of 2010s, 10 nearly perfect songs
Red Hot Chili Peppers - One Hot Minute (alt rock / psych) = underrated af, darker, druggier, heavier [Navarro]
Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses (gothic metal) = deep voice, dark, sexual, erotic, vampiric, drop-tuned, prog-like
Ovlov - AM (noise rock / fuzz rock) dino jr meets MBV circa 2013 = fuzzy, distorted, noisey, punky
Slipknot - Vol 3. Subliminal Verses (nu metal) = heavy af, relentless, double bass, great vocals, Rick Rubin
Screaming Trees - Buzz Factory (grunge) = best Screaming Trees album imo
Ty Segall - Manipulator (alt rock / psych) = this or "Melted" are my favorites
Marilyn Manson - Holy Wood (metal / industrial) = most of his greatest hits are on here _________________ Jeff Lynne 5th Beatle

sorry to hear that, man. i hope you have a speedy recovery. i'm going to recommend Sub-Aquatic Meditation by Panabrite simply because it's what i'd want to listen to if i was cooped up in bed for two weeks. it's ambient enough that i can fall asleep to it. it's got enough carefree that i wouldn't get all depressed listening to it. and it's an escapist album of sorts that makes me feel like i'm diving in the bahamas, exploring coral and sea anemones and what-have-you. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

Here's hoping the hypnotic loops of this album make you feel better quickly:

Really sorry to hear it and hope you bounce back.
I might not give the best recs to you musically because we have different tastes, but if I had lots of time to sit and digest music, I'd reserve it for some albums which don't normally fit into my listening schedule.
Two very long and different albums that I love: Have One On Me by Joanna Newsom and Soundtracks For The Blind by Swans _________________ Some New Ordeal (Spotify/iTunes/Deezer)
