Hey, it's me. Getting chart of the day usually is like somebody walking in on you while your living room is a mess. If I'd have known I was having company I might have tidied up a bit. But for once I'd say this is still relatively accurate.

Thanks y'all. Once again I gotta give credit where credit is due. Something like 7 years ago before I discovered this site, I was only familiar with a small fraction of the albums on this list. I deleted my first account but I wish I hadn't, just so I could go back and see my first chart. It was pretty much exclusively classic rock and mainstream metal with only a few exceptions. Thanks to BEA I've fallen in love with jazz, got a good ear for electronic, and have learned that every genre has many subgenres. And of course, my favorite band of all time, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who I noticed for the first time while deep browsing the top 1000 albums list like 5 years ago.

Really interesting and varied list.

I have not heard most of the albums on this list, but there are a lot of interesting and acclaimed albums that many others overlook. God Bless Tiny Tim is a record that was listed by David Keenan in his ‘The Best Albums Ever...Honest’ for the Scottish Sunday Herald back in 2003 – I bought it but have never seriously listened to it in a decade or more. Time Of The Last Persecution is quite impressive in limited listening since I bought it last year.

What’s especially interesting is that, like that Keenan list, it is highly eclectic and offers a lot of different styles. Although I am not a metal fan, seeing post-1983 metal is a contrast with Keenan and Joe S. Harrington. So is seeing Sly and Stevie Wonder, though I would actually have chosen Stand! and Music of My Mind myself.
