If I had no idea what this band was, based on this cover, I would definitely have no clue whatsoever. What the hell is a "Sneaker Pimp"? And what does it have to do with microchips?
Pretty much the same thing for this one, the cover on BEA is very different than the newer one and I'm glad they changed it eventually to fall in line with the band's aesthetics
It's pretty similar but just using a different photoshoot. I thought it was bizarre and can't for the life of me figure out why 2 different covers were used. For some reason I have a copy of each haha _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Biggest one for me is Akuma No Uta. This is apparently the original cover, but what even is it? The Nick Drake homage is definitely way better and more well known.
Also hard disagree on You Forgot It In People, I think the original cover matches the music a lot better. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.

That's easy.
The best one of all is The Marshall Mathers LP: the grey-ish/black-ish where he lays in front of a fence of a house (or least I think that's what it is). Much much more gritty, dystopian, and subtly brutal than the original where he sits in front of his home.

At least that looks like a group of people who might make cool music.
I'm only previously familiar with the alternate one. Must have been this one that we had in the UK. Yeah, it is much better. It's a much more eye-catching and memorable image.

Dopesmoker 100%. The original cover is cool, the alternate is better (just like the rerecorded album). Akuma No Uta is another good one. I like both the original and alternate Wolfheart cover.

To keep it in the same genre, Agalloch's Ashes Against the Grain alternate cover is cooler and represents the album better.

I love a good album cover, there's a lot of others worth mentioning like the would-be Damn. cover (Superfly homage, google it if you don't know), Are You Experienced? etc. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
