Going with Eerie, even if it does make me feel like it's 1984 again, which is a little eerie.

Both great albums, but Little Dark Age is on another level. Was also a major grower when I gave it more time and attention.

What about Mount Eerie says 1984 to you? I would say the MGMT album is more evocative of the 80s (although I can't speak from experience).

Whoops!!!!

Yes, I was thinking of MGMT and got my wires crossed.
The vote did go to MGMT so all's good--just tried to get too clever for my own good in giving my response. Thanks for the catch so I could clarify.

Haven't been into MGMT since 2010 and this didn't change my mind, though it's more an unenthused thumbs up for Phil here.

Ugh!!! I find this new direction from Mount Eerie to be insufferable.

I enjoy the latest MGMT album but don't consider it great. Fun & radio-friendly but doesn't come close to the height of their debut.
