I have this cd via some hmv deal thing and I'm sure I've heard it once, I've heard worse but yeah. Go was fantastic though and was gutted I missed him play the local rave during that period as me pal said he took a tablet and felt like he was on a rollercoaster when Moby did Go, the bass dropped so low he thought he was going to die. Nice. Bit of a c too is Moby.

"No step away from the ledge!"
"I'll fuckin' do it man. Just watch me."
"Please, think of what's at stake here!"
"I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna stan for Moby."...
...is usually the dialogue I have with myself everytime I come to the album's defense. And, for the sake of not writing the same thing again, I'll just say that I still enjoy this album a lot, and I'm not ashamed in the slightest bit. (Nevermind, I'm totally going in on this one). The fact that nobody was interested in Moby at all, and his terrible rock music was shunned, and he decides to license all of his music completely, so it was shoved in people's faces constantly, which ended up making the album a success, is nothing short of a miracle. It wasn't shoved in your face in just 1999 either but for several years after as well. Single after single, commercial after commercial, in evry goddamn shopping mall, and hotel lobby, one of the musically varied tracks from "Play" was bound to be heard. You were going to hear "Play" whether you wanted to or not. The brass balls on this bald bastard are titanic.

Damn I must hate electronic music. Both Play and AAL's two "house" albums are some of my favourites _________________ Overall chart
