I couldn't even begin to guess how long this band have been going, and I refuse to Google it, but it feels like they've been vaguely adjacent to that post-Britpop/landfill indie scene for as long as I can remember and I always see their name but I do feel proud knowing that I can only guess what they sound like. Very shit, I imagine, like an even worse Maccabees meets Late of the Pier (big up my 2007 NME readers!). Whatever. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. As if their debut wasn't boring and spineless enough, they come back with an even bigger snoozefest. Like the debut at least had several nice tunes, but this is just bad. The "put it in my butt" video is the best thing associated with alt-J apart from Something Good. _________________ Overall chart

I honestly didn't even know they were British until I just saw the flag next to their name for the first time. And I made myself listen to one of their albums for our canon listening game.

I agree with the above.
I don't like their music at all.

Wow, never expected such negative reactions. Personally I don't like this album very much, it's kind of bland and generic, but it's still pleasant enough. _________________ All time

Honestly, this animosity makes me want to try it. Though I want to listen to different things before this.
