Anyways I've enjoyed Toubouk but I have voted against the past few matches, but that's really just due to very strong competition. A nice semi-underdog story, but I'm still going Simulation Swarm by a hair here.
Toubouk Ine Chihoussay is a fun track, but not a favourite by any means. It's cool that it snuck into the top 4 though. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
I voted for my nom, Toubouk Ine Chihoussay which I love and think I prefer over almost anything else in the tourney. But Simulation Swarm and the whole Big Thief album around it are wonderful. Easily my favorite Big Thief album.
I'm pleasantly surprised Toubuk Ine Chihoussay made it this far into the tournament, but fully expect it to fall to this extremely worthy competitor and wonderful song by Big Thief. _________________ 51 Washington, D.C. albums!

Also looking into this claim they are zionists, outside of them playing shows in Tel Aviv, is there any other gripe? Or anything else pointing to them being Zionistโs besides playing music for the people who live in Israel? _________________ -Ryan

I think its largely that + some stuff I barely remember. But their response to it didn't seem genuine to me and rather damage control. Haven't been super comfortable with them since.
Yeah that's a much more complicated conversation to have that simply playing in one of the band members hometown is supporting Zionism, particulary it's relation to negating and occuyping Palestine. Given as someone who wasn't born into a Jewish Family (ie not ethnically Jewish), I find it personally a hard topic to talk about with authority especially with people who have grown up their entire lives around the conversation, and I still remember vividly being right on the sidelines of one incredibily heated exchange of Jewish speakers from around the globe, one of them being a concentration camp survivor. It's a conversation worth having, but I don't think branding the band instantly with a scarlett letter is wise, either.
