Maybe it is worth to reconsider to re-arrange topics in section "Music". Most of them are from "Chart of the day" and "Album of the day". It would be more effective to group them and put into the two separate sections one for Charts and second for the Album. Other topics should stay at the place they are now.

There are pluses and minuses to doing this, and it was discussed in depth a little while ago - www.besteveralbums.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3196

The idea went onto the back-burner for various reasons. The main issue centred defining the categories properly, whilst still making the forums easy to use. In the end, nothing was done because other things were more important at the time. The idea could be revisited, and it might be a way of giving forums a new lease of life.

I support the idea of putting all the Album of the Day and the Chart of the Day in subtopics under Music. We can worry about what other topics are necessary later.

If those topics weren't there, there wouldn't be much left. They help to seed the board when it is quiet ( and summer is usually fairly quiet here)

I agree with album master, the forums are not nearly active enough, there's no point in doing this other than to make things look "neat n tidy" for its own sake. It's when topics get drowned to the following page within hours when this sort of thing becomes necessary.
