Hmmm, every time Marley turns up as WAotD it's always one of his later, crossover reggae-lite attempts. Somewhat disappointing. I think the production on this record almost ruins it, and sounds extremely dated. Still, a decent album.

Oh god no. Redemption Song is just horrible. When I said this was a decent album, I meant tracks 1-9. At least it's better than Stevie Wonder's tepid version I guess. I was in a pub once where someone put that on the jukebox on repeat for about an hour. If I hadn't been there for a friend's birthday I'd have just left.

Don't modern jukeboxes put a stop to endless repeat stuff yet? I hate that.
I know they make you burn a credit to bump your song up front. I hate that MORE.

World album of the day?!?! Looks like I've been away too long. To save me looking, has anyone else protested against the use of the (abhorrent) term 'world album'? Are you telling me that from the selection criteria stated above ABBA is now classed as World Music? Oh dear...
Now where did I put my copy of Babylon By Bus? Oh yeah, I sold it at a car boot sale. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing
