Great listen all the way through. It was the first album by Bruce that I have listened to. He is not famous here in Brazil so I had the pleasure to discover it here on BEA.

This is an album that can go under the radar given Born In The U.S.A. and Born To Run success and I only listened to it because he seemed like a great artist. So I thought to myself: "I will check his top albums on here, let's start with the 5th 'best' and up from there". I am thankful I did it! It remains as a favorite. When I think of this album I always remember the line on New York City Serenade: "So walk tall... or baby don't walk at all". It got kind of stuck in my head hehehe.

Also I recommend anyone who doesn't know his 1973 material to check his debut album as well:

Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. by Bruce Springsteen

One of my 3 favourite Springsteen albums (Alongside 'Nebraska' and 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town'). 'The E Street Shuffle' and 'Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)' are both great fun party style anthems and I find 'New York City Serenade' to be fantastic also, all 10 minutes of it, it's solid throughout in all honesty.
