I'm going off of P-Funk using rym's definition, "Characteristics are a "fat", monotonic drum sound; spaced-out synthesizers; thumping, "squelchy" basslines; tight, syncopated horn sections; and sometimes heavy guitars".
But it could be argued that P-Funk is pretty much anything George Clinton did so I guess I can see the arguement

I get the connection and where it came from it's just that the album doesn't really fit into the classification I was thinking of, I get what your saying tho so I'll be quiet now....
