A good portion of B&S sounds very sugary and, dare I say, bland. This is one of the best examples: a feelgood indie track that is a bit catchy, a bit sweet, but nothing conclusive. In the end it doesn't do much for me unfortunately.
Sigur Ros. Wish belle & Seb had a better track in the tournament... even maybe a better track off that album. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!
Over on RYM, Another Sunny Day is bolded, in the top 1000 singles, and ranked as the third best B&S single. Weird how it gets so much less respect on BEA, from rating, to rank among their songs, to the comments from users that it was a subpar nominee for this tournament. _________________ Add me on RYM

says something about our smaller community for sure
No, Another Sunny Day is a fine song, but that's it, it's just... fine. I find it pleasent in motion but nothing much stays after each listen. That's kind of my issue with everything released after Push Barman, it's all been ya know, just o.k. None of the records have been mediocre but little hankering to voluntarily listen to any of them again. But I still find lesser B&S nostalgia better than this era of Sigur Ros, even if Hoppipola is very well-crafted I donno I just find it far too toothy-sweet at this point.
