Great chart. I am about to press play on that Brandi Carlile album right now. Thanks to this chart. Of course. Otherwise that would be a crazy friggin coinicidence.

Good to see DCFC represented. And many others i meant to mention in this comment but i didn't make the OP viewable from this comment window and I forgot what other good things I saw.

This is a cool list. I like some placements, like the inclusion of ITCOTCK, electric ladyland, songs in the key of life, and Pet sounds at number one. Thooo...the placement of meddle in the top 100 music albums ever??? Not my jam. I love meddle, and especially Echoes, but like top 20 albums EVER???

oh also, I'm curious if you spent more time with 50s Jazz or Classical if that 50's convo would change... not that it should, but that's something I'm eventually wanting to spend more time with myself, but probs not, knowing you and likely already have spent that time.

I've spent a good time with jazz from the early modern period (I'd say around 1940-1970), but I just am hesitant on calling myself an expert. There are a lot of jazz albums that are up there for me with other styles, but idk. My top 100 favorites has a lot of like what I'd call rotation and familiarity. I love great jazz but I don't exactly listen to it as often and in regularity as I do with like Pixies or w/e

Makes perfect sense... there's a difference between highly respecting something and loving it.

Just a thought I had about the 50s. Some don't like how inconsistent early rock n' roll albums are and if they don't explore jazz they are missing out on likely the highest quality music of the decade.

Having said that, it's not my favorite either.
