Yeah seconded - especially Boris. Jesu, Alcest, Cold Body Radiation and Strawberry Hospital also fit. Some are really into Deafheaven, and woods of desolation - I am not.
I remember when DJ’ing an “east coast swing” night at the dance studio I went to, I put on the surf rock part of “Xero Tolerance” for the group of senior citizens to dance to. It went about as well as you’d expect.
