Hi all,

How about a game where someone posts an album, and the next person has to continue the chain by posting an album which has a track name in common with the previous album.

For example, I might post In Rainbows by Radiohead.

Then the next person could post Moon Safari by Air (because both albums have a track called "All I Need" in it). Mention which track name is common in the comment, and maybe a link to the album on BEA so people can check it out?

To make it easier, I will also allow albums which have a track which contains a name from the previous album. For example, if I post Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me by the Cure. The next person could post Rattle and Hum by U2 (because Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me has "All I Want" and Rattle and Hum has "All I Want Is You").

I'm wondering how long the chain can go on for... I guess if a chain fizzles out then someone can start a new one.

Maybe we can call it "Album Association". Surely with the breadth of musical knowledge the users on the site have we can keep each chain going for a while?

If anyone has any suggestions on how we can make the game better then feel free.

(I'm new and this may have already been done so let me know if I'm duplicating)

If this hasn't been done before, I'll get us started. Fittingly, my #1 album (and quite an easy one to chain to):

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

i'm just glad the chain didn't fizzle out straight away. I was worried for a moment there.

Frank by Amy Winehouse also has a song called "Help Yourself"

Neat idea, hopefully this is an adequate choice to keep it moving
