"Black Celebration", "A Question of Time", and "Stripped" are 3 of my favourite Depeche Mode songs. Although I loved earlier songs such as "Everything Counts", "People Are People", "Master & Servant", and "Blasphemous Rumours", Black Celebration seems to be the album where Depeche Mode's sound truly began to take shape. It's not as highly regarded as Violator, but I highly doubt that Violator ever would have happened without Black Celebration.

This is my go-to Depeche Mode album. It’s not on my overall chart anymore, but it used to be a top twenty album for me. I can’t recommend it enough.
